WILLOUGHBY Cricket Club get their preparations for the forthcoming 2012 season underway in the coming weeks.
The club will be holding pre-season nets and training during February and March at the Rugby campus of Warwickshire College, starting on Sunday, February 12.
Indoor sessions will be held at Technology Drive, Rugby, from 12.15 until 1.30pm, at a cost of only £2 per person. The first session will be for senior and U15 players only.
It promises to be a busy summer for Willoughby CC, on and off-the-pitch. The club invites cricketers of all ages and standards interested in playing and getting involved to get in touch or turn up for pre-season training.
Seniors will again have a variety of competitive league cricket on a Saturday afternoon with two teams in the South Northants League, on a Wednesday in the Rugby and District Cricket league (RDCL), as well as offering social cricket with village and club friendlies on Sunday afternoons.
Willoughby will have teams at U13 and U15 levels in the RDCL, as well as a new U11 team.
