The Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance is calling on the residents of Daventry to get spring cleaning their wardrobes and donating any unwanted items.
The air ambulance charity receives no Government or National Lottery funding and relies entirely on public donations in order to fund its lifesaving service, attending almost 1,000 rescue missions in 2012.
Kerry Smart, area retail manager for Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, said: “We pride ourselves on the boutique nature of our stores, and our high quality, low priced items have been flying off the shelves – which means we urgently need more donations! Those shoes and handbags you’ve not used for years, the dress that is no longer in fashion, or DVDs that you no longer watch, could really help save lives so we’d urge to spring into action and see what you can do to help your local air ambulance.”
The shop can be found at 3 Foundry Walk, Daventry, Northants, NN11 4PN and is open 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
