A cyclist sustained serious injures following a road traffic accident on Sunday (May 5).
Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision which took place at around 8.05am on Holdenby Road, between Spratton and Holdenby.
For reasons yet unknown, a pedal cyclist travelling north was in collision with a silver VW Tiguan travelling in the opposite direction.
As a result the cyclist, a 42-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and was taken by air ambulance to Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
