A 16-year-old girl and one 14-year-old boy were attacked in Daventry over the weekend.
The first incident happened on the footpath between Welton Road and Northern Way at around 7.30pm on Friday May 3.
The girl was approached by a man who punched her and took her bag.
Police are linking this with a second incident which happened on Monday May 6 at around 5.45am.
A man, who was standing with a woman in South Place, grabbed the 14-year-old boy’s wrist and demanded his bike.
In the first instance the offender is described as a white man in his late 20s, with blonde highlighted hair, wearing a grey, high-necked jumper, baggy blue jeans and white trainers.
In the second incident the offender is described as a clean shaven white man, in his late 20s, with blonde hair, a deep voice and wearing a white, waist-length jacket. The woman with him is described as white, 5ft 4in, of skinny build and with black, shoulder-length hair.
