The air ambulance had to be called out to DIRFT on Monday morning after a road ambulance broke down.
The incident happened at around 8am when a road ambulance carrying a critically ill patient broke down at DIRFT.
Police were called to the scene to close off the road in order for the air ambulance to land and take the patient on to hospital.
