CHILDREN and parents got together to celebrate family values at a town primary school.
Falconer’s Hill Infants hosted the day, during which parents were invited to come along and join in.
Headteacher Coleen Wilkins said: “We have a family values group in the school and this term we have been working on friendship.
“Parents and children have created games at home and they all brought them in to share as a group.
“ Some of the ideas have been wonderful, they’ve made the rules up themselves and there are some great games.
“We do a different theme each term and this one has worked really well. It’s about going back to basics.
“Playing board games can be a wonderful way for children to learn lots of different skills and develop family values.”
