Daventry’s MP Chris Heaton-Harris claimed £37,720.82 to run his office.
The figures were released by the Independent Parliamentary Standards Committee (IPSC) and cover the claims made last year.
Mr Heaton-Harris also declared he’d received three tickets for Special Olympics GB Games Opening Ceremony in Bath, had lunch with Hanover at the Royal Opera House, been to a barbecue at Number 10 Downing Street, had dinner with Open Europe at Spencer House, St James’ Place, and lunch with staff from the Daily Mail and Times.

Mr Heaton-Harris’ 2012-13 claim compares to £19,261.18 claimed by South Northamptonshire MP Andrea Leadsom. While Northampton South MP Brian Binley claimed £41,046.54, and Northampton North MP Michael Ellis claimed £24,587.70. The MP for Wellingborough and Rushden Peter Bone claimed £55,232.12.
