DAVENTRY’S MP met with the Prime Minister this week as he continues his campaign to change wind farm policy.
Chris Heaton-Harris wants local people and councils to have more of a say on wind farm applications in the area.
He said: “There was a group of eight of us who met with David Cameron for 45 minutes and made our points.
“We believe a lot of planning applications are currently being rushed through by energy companies because the planning framework is due to be changed.
“We want things done to give local communities more power and it’s just a case of getting our message out there.
“I’m confident that progress is being made and we are getting somewhere.”
