PUPILS enjoyed getting down and dairy during a day learning about milk and cows.
Milk suppliers Cool Milk paid a visit to Badby Primary School on Monday – with a special visitor in tow.
Chrissy Dodman, a marketing executive with Cool Milk, brought along a lifesized cardboard cow to aid the learning.
She said: “We supply milk to schools across the UK and we want to educate children about where milk comes from.
“We see there’s a gap in children’s knowledge as if you ask a lot of them about where milk comes from, they’ll say ‘Tesco’ or ‘Sainsbury’s.
“We also used quiz questions. It’s about getting the children to understand the cow to carton process.
“We had about 120 children and they absolutely loved it. We weren’t sure the older children would be so into it, but they were.”
