DAVENTRY thirds were put under early pressure against Milton Keynes following a soft try and they let in another shortly before half-time.
But the All Blacks’ line-out was working well along with the scrummaging.
The distribution of the ball sometimes let Daventry down and allowed MK into the game more than they should have been.
From a well-drilled line-out Daventry drove their maul into MK’s 22 and were held up on their try line.
MK were let off with an accidental knock-on from Daventry allowing them to clear their lines.
The home side were also beaten to the rucks allowing MK to turn them over and secure their own ball easily.
The skipper will be looking for an improvement for thisSaturday but was pleased with how his side had played.
