DAVENTRY Phoenix Gymnastics Club entered four gymnasts into the Regional Grade 11 held at Leicester New College.
Congratulations go to Oriana Ahmadi, Katie Smith, Lara Norman and Katie Porter who all competed against 32 other gymnasts from many clubs from all over the East Midlands.
All the girls gave outstanding performances, producing clean routines on all pieces and gained excellent results.
Congratulations to nine- year-old Oriana Ahamdi who came in second position overall and took home the silver medal. This is such a great achievement for the young gymnasts.
Results: Oriana second position overall and won a silver medal.
Katie Smith eighth position, Katie Porter 16th position and Lara Norman 20th position.
Coach Natalie Bannigan expressed her delights with the girl’s performances.
“I’m very pleased with how well the girls performed.
“They all worked hard preparing for this competition and this really showed on the day with such great results.
“I’m very proud of all the girls and I look forward to the levels competitions later on this year.”
