YOUNG people can find out about apprenticeships and training on offer in the local area at an event in Daventry next Thursday (April 19).
Connexions Northamptonshire is organising the Apprenticeships and Jobs Fair at the iCon building, off Eastern Way in the town, for people aged16 to 19.
Young people can chat to local employers and training providers, watch demonstrations and take part in speed interviews to give them and employers the chance to get to know each other, plus build young people’s confidence and interview skills.
Connexions staff will also be on hand to provide careers information and guidance. The event runs from 2pm to 5pm and is free.
