A NEW mayor was elected to represent Daventry Town Council this week.
At a meeting on Monday cllr Ron Fox was chosen to hold the role for the coming year.
His deputy will be cllr Mark Wesley.
Also at the meeting Cllr Steve Tubb was re-elected as leader of the council, a post which he will hold for the next 12-months.
