PEOPLE can have their say and ask questions on plans for shops, a new library, cinema and more planned for Daventry town centre.
Henry Boot Developments is progressing proposals for the redevelopment for Mulberry Place, a £50 million retail led development on land north of High Street.
The Mulberry Place plans will include a new multiplex cinema and more than 65,000 sq ft of additional retail space together with restaurants and cafés.
A new library is also planned on the Chapel Lane car park site as part of the proposals. This new facility will be larger than the current library and includes a small outside amphitheatre, registry office and ceremonies room.
Integrated development proposals have also been developed for the western side of the town centre stretching from Waterloo to Chaucer Way, currently known as Site 5, which will include a new supermarket, petrol station and additional bulky goods retail units.
A public consultation event is being run by Henry Boot Developments Limited in June prior to the submission of planning applications for both the redevelopment proposals at Mulberry Place and Site 5 in July.
Residents are encouraged to give their views on the proposals at the week long public exhibition and consultation event being held this month
The plans will be on show during normal opening hours at the following locations:
