Bugbrooke 3
The game started off with both teams going all out for the result from the off.
Daventry scored an early goal from Shay but Bugbrooke got back on level terms minutes later. A good shot from Ben put Daventry back in the lead 2-1 but again the opposition levelled.
In the second-half Bugbrooke scored again to make it 3-2. This was a good game of football and man of the match was awarded to the whole team.
Weedon Juniors U15s 6
Kingsthorpe Jets 4
Kingsthorpe scored a quick goal soon after kick off but Weedon fought back to take control of the first-half.
A free-kick from the halfway line resulted in a goal for defender Jonjo Fanning. Further goals came from Sam Eyes, Darragh Davis and Karl Mandefield.
The second half proved more difficult for Weedon as Kingsthorpe fought back with three more goals.
But Weedon did not give up and scored two further goals sealing a convincing 6-4 win over last year’s league winners.
D Grange Blades U13s 4
Long Buckby 1
Goals from Nathan Butler, Joe Squirrell, an unfortunate own goal from a Buckby player and Tom Davis’s first for the Blades, settled this game.
Buckby scored a deserved consolation and Blades wasted numerous chances throughout the match. Man of the match was Jake Osborne who put in a non-stop performance.
Dav Town Vikings U11s 1
Gregory Celtic Green 3
This match was one of Daventry’s better despite them losing 3-1.
Vikings went ahead with a Thomas Clements’ strike. They worked very hard with Brandon Holmes and Mathew Ridgewell playing great football.
Ed Moyes and Alex Osborne worked hard in the match but two own goals by Vikings saw Daventry’s team suffering a 3-1 defeat.
Man of the match was Thomas Clements and Mathew Ridgewell.
Wooldale Blue U10s 2

In another entertaining game Saxons opened the scoring first with a well-worked goal finishing with Robbie Meadows smashing the back of the net.
Wooldale got their reward in the 15th minute to go into halftime one apiece.
The second half saw Wooldale take an early lead and Saxons had it all to do. Chances fell to Chris Gunter and George Holloman midway through the half and Sam Clements blasted the cross bar. But it was man of the match Hugo Caldeira who scored the equaliser beating the keeper at the near post.

Delapre Dragons Saints 1
This was a difficult match for the Vikings against a strong side. There were eight great saves from Ryan. A first-half goal from Delapre stunned the Vikings but they kept their heads high.
In the second half the Vikings battled on with a couple of good strikes on goal but the game ended 1–0 to Delapre.

Kingsthorpe Jets Hawks 1
A closely-fought contest saw both teams fairly evenly matched. Ethan Hart scored All Stars’ goal from a free kick and man of the match for All Stars was keeper Niles Bradney, pulling off some great saves to keep the Hawks at bay.
D Grange Blades U14s 7
Falcon Stripes 3
This game was lit up by two fabulous hat-tricks from Blades’ front men Matthias Nyakanyanga and Robbie Farrell.
Falcons took an early lead in the opening minute when Blades failed to clear a free kick.
Jack Creaney levelled for Blades with a glancing header before the Robbie and Matthias show took over scoring six great goals between them.
The pick of the bunch was Robbie’s “Lionel Messi” chip into the top corner after a powerful run. Man of the match went to Blades’ Dylan Jones who had a scintillating game.
Credit should go to Falcons who never gave up the chase to get back into the game.
D Grange U16s Colts 5
Moulton Fields Fusion 2
Ryan Bowyer and Chris Berrevoets both scored in the first six minutes.
But Colts lost their shape and Fusion pulled one back before half-time.
Chris Berrevoets scored two more for his hat-trick in the second-half.
Connor Slasberg scored his first goal from the penalty spot and Fusion scored a superb, late consolation goal from a direct free-kick. Scott Wann deserved his man of the match.

Kingsthorpe Jets Typhoons 4
Saxons’ three-month unbeaten run came to an abrupt end against an excellent Kingsthorpe Jets team in a match which was not without its controversy.
Injury and sickness-ravaged Saxons were on the back foot from the start and put up an heroic backs-against-the-wall display.
There were standout performances from Nayan Bryce, Josh Adams and man of the-match Alex Smith.
