YOUNGSTERS looking to get back into work or education are being given the chance to apply for a 12-week course.
The Prince’s Trust Team project will be starting its third course in Daventry on Monday, May 8.
The personal development course is aimed at 16 to 25-year-olds who are looking to develop new skills.
Daventry team leader Matt Ottley said: “Team members will undertake in a wide range of tasks and challenges including a five-day residential in the Peak District where they will take on activities such as abseiling, rock climbing and caving.
“Following on from this they will take on a number of community projects aimed at giving back to the area they live in.
“In order to get the young people back into work they will also take part in two-weeks of work experience. They will also be given help creating a new CV.
“The final part of the course involves a presentation and awards ceremony, which will be attended by members of the local community, friends and family of team members and local dignitaries.”
