POLICE officers are appealing for witnesses following a suspected arson on the A361 between Ashby St Ledger and Kilsby.
The incident took place between 6.30pm and 7.15pm on Tuesday (May 1).
An X registration Ford Fiesta Zetec was left on the northbound verge of the A361, north of the Ashby St Ledger’s turn.
The car had extensive damage following a crash on Monday, April 30.
At 7.15pm on Tuesday a passing motorist reported the vehicle on fire.
Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service attended and the cause of the fire is currently being treated as suspicious.
